Welcome to the website of Lina Bausch.

Lina is an award winning fine artist, specializing in intricate works done in gouache, pen and ink and pencil, oils on canvas, commissions and murals.

Lina's work is renowned for its intricate backgrounds and beautiful colour. It is also diverse, covering Australian birds (particularly parrots), flora, landscapes and her other love, buildings. Lina also specializes in large murals, completing a beautiful one for Mt Buller Ski School in 2006.

Lina became a member of A.G.R.A (The Australian Guild of Realist Artists) in 2006.

 

"I created this website in lieu of finishing my best work to date, "The Buller Mural.

 

"Most of the original work shown on the next few pages are examples of my pre-2004 work. but keep checking this site, as my new range of equisite flowers paintings will be soon on here"

All of the paintings For Sale on this website are highly collectable. Lina's works are in collections both in Australia and the U.S.A. They are very much loved by their proud owners.

Lina has just gifted her legal team copies of her beautiful Giclee Print "Parrots of Paradise 2" (main image above) .

She has also gifted Shannon Deery, from The Sunday Herald Sun, No 1 of this print.

Lina is also "Dabbling in Deco" after being inspired recently by the recent "Art Deco" exhibition in Melbourne.

Lina may also be drawing the fabulous "Fortuna Villa" in Bendigo, after being given permission by the Bendigo Advertiser to use the photos which have been published in their paper recently.

Lina's main influences come from the Art Deco and Art Nouveau Periods in art.

News Flash - Great News! Lina will be illustrating a book in the near future as well as doing her new range of paintings. It has been a life long dream to work on a book. Please check this site for more details.

Lina is also working towards organising a group exhibition in Bondi Pavilion Sydney in the near future This will be an exciting retrospective of all of Lina's originals dating from 1980.She is also  openning her own studio/gallery "The Black Cockatoo and Snow Bunnies Gallery" in Heathcote Victoria, which will be openned by appointment only and on most weekends...Complimentary Cappucinos and yummy treats a must for all visitors. Weekend guests will also be catered for.

Lina painted extensively in Thredbo and the did famous "Godfather Pizza Restaurant Mural" during the 1990ties but she painted under her married names of Lina Zibelnik and Lina Cole. These paintings are hanging in several solicitors offices and homes in Sydney and Jindabyne as well as in overseas collections.
